Youth and Philanthropy
Fundación Comunitaria de la Frontera Norte seeks to improve the quality of life of people from Juárez. Doing this through a program called “Youth and Philanthropy” has proven to be one of the best methods to achieve this goal.

This program was born in 2004, when Fundación Comunitaria de la Frontera Norte joined local nonprofit organizations to organize youth councils, groups of ten young people between the ages of 11 and 19 who are given the opportunity to receive training and experience real philanthropy.
This program also gives young people a chance to become aware of their community’s problems and get proactively involved in their solution. Young participants gain leadership skills, develop creative and analytical thought processes and become conscious of community needs. Above all, we are building the foundation for a new generation of philanthropists that will make a big difference in our community.
Each youth council detects a need in their community and develops and implements a project to tackle such problem. We invite you to meet the stars of these projects:
